Collateral Risk Network Forum
The CRN is a private email forum for lenders and senior collateral managers only. The purpose is for chief appraisers and collateral risk managers to act as counsel to each other, share experiences, and assist each other in solving mutual problems. If you are a lender and wish to join please email jtrice@appraisalbuzz.com. The CRN meets twice a year, in person at the Valuation Expos, www.valuationexpo.com. Membership currently numbers 135. Appraisal Management Companies have recently been included after they sponsor a CRN event. If you are a lender and wish to join please contact Joan Trice at jtrice@appraisalbuzz.com. Or if you are a vendor or AMC and wish to sponsor an event please contact Joan Trice.
This group has evolved from a very small group at the first Valuation Expo held in Orlando in December 2003. The CRN has developed an amazing trust, confidence and respect for each other. It’s an organism that has successfully worked well with no agenda other than to elevate the appraisal profession and those within it. The CRN are the thought leaders of the collateral valuation community.

Suggestions for Participation:
If you belong to multiple email networks set up a folder in Outlook titled for each group. Set a “rule” that will move discussion group emails to the appropriate folder. Then if volume is heavy for any given day, you may attack a given folder later in the day, and not have the traffic interfere with business.
Please respect others’ opinions. Debates are healthy. Confidentiality is a must.
