2015 Valuation Visionary Award Winner Announced

We are pleased to announce the Valuation Visionary award winner for 2015 is Rick Langdon of Wells Fargo

Every year the Collateral Risk Network joins together to nominate and vote on the most influential mind in the appraisal industry for the year. The winner is presented with the prestigious Valuation Visionary Award. The purpose of the award is to recognize the person who has demonstrated outstanding leadership, innovation and professionalism in the valuation industry in the past year. This year Rick Langdon will be our 5th ever recipient of the award.

As chief appraiser for one of the largest banks in the country Rick has used his position to try and make a meaningful change in how appraisers are trained. Joan Trice, Founder of CRN, stated “it is no surprise that Rick was selected by his peers to be the Valuation Visionary this year. Rick has been a fixture at Valuation Expo. He is the highest rated speaker we have. He exudes so much positive energy appraisers can’t help but feel good about their future. He is a leader in every sense of the word.”

When we informed Rick that he was the 2015 Valuation Visionary he commented, “I feel honored. The Collateral Risk Network has played an important role in working on reforms over the past years. I am grateful to have had the privilege to get to know so many dedicated people who share a vision to return integrity to the collateral valuation process.”

Be sure to join us at Valuation Expo 2015 in Baltimore, MD as we present Rick with the award. Stay tuned for more exciting news about Wells Fargo and their special participation with Valuation Expo this year. As a Platinum Sponsor of the conference they are seeking to reach out to appraisers on a more personal level.
