ASA: ‘It appears agencies minds were set on increase’

The American Society of Appraisers (ASA) is concerned.
The ASA was deeply disappointed to learn that federal banking agencies rejected a request by numerous groups – including ASA – to hold a public hearing regarding the proposed increase in the residential appraisal threshold to $400,000.
