Calling All Appraisal Nerds

I have been on a mission over the past few months to collect all of the editions of The Appraisal of Real Estate by the Appraisal Institute. I am researching a number of things but among them is a historical view into changes to the definition of market value. I am also doing a little research into the evolution of the appraisal process. It sounds kind of weird but this is fun for me.

I have been fairly successful in finding them all but I have not been able to acquire either the 1st, 3rd, or the 4th editions. I have exhausted all conventional sources and have only been able to acquire all but these few holdouts. If you have any other older textbooks I am interested in those as well. Somewhere in the library of the multi – generational appraisal offices are the editions I am seeking.

Please contact me if you have access to these treasures! I am a willing buyer in search of a willing seller. I have also rounded up a few extra copies of other editions. If you are a collector of all things appraisal like I am and are looking for a specific edition to complete your collection let me know.
