We sat down with Marty Haldane, Founder & CEO of Anow, to further discuss the upcoming webinar he will be hosting on April 9th, “The Power of Anow: Tips & Tricks for Growing your Appraisal Business.”  As an appraiser, growing your business could be a goal you want to reach in 2020. Is an additional 10 people what you need for your appraisal business? How many steps have you laid out to reach this goal? With this free webinar, you’ll learn with Anow, the leading software for appraisers nationwide. If your main goal for 2020 is to increase revenue and grow your business, you’ll want to keep reading.

Buzz: Can we please have your background in the appraisal and real estate industry?

Marty: I am a third-generation appraiser. I started working for my dad when I was right out of high school and worked for him for 10 years. My father has been an appraiser since the 1970s and started at the company my Grandfather started. My father is an awesome appraiser, a fantastic teacher and mentor, and I have to give him a ton of credit for where I am today. I have done thousands of appraisals, including everything from every type of residential to complex commercial and industrial assignments. Plus, I have been a general contractor on several houses I built and sold, with the first being when I was 19 (I’m 33 now). Real estate has been in my blood from day one.

Buzz: Can you elaborate on the company of Anow and why appraisers should work with them?

Marty: We are one of the few companies where appraisers are our only customers. We love appraisers and take care of them first, because I am an appraiser. Every time we create new features, they are there to help the appraiser. Too many other software solutions in our industry are built for lenders and AMCs. The force appraisers to use them rather than give appraisers tools that make their lives easier, save money, and drive more business for individual appraisal companies to the largest in the country. That’s what we do.

Buzz: Can we have a general summary of the webinar, “The Power of Anow: Tips & Tricks for Growing your Appraisal Business?”

Marty: I’ll teach you how to look outside the box and set up easy ways to get more orders from private customers and new lenders who may have never heard of you before.

Buzz: This webinar is going to be of great value to our attendees. What is something that you would like to say to the people who are on the fence about attending this webinar?

Marty: We see a lot of appraisers who have built great businesses doing mostly AMC work. However, if you want to grow your business into a multi-million dollar business or add 5-10 more appraisers to your team, you need to market yourself to a larger audience. I’m going to show you easy ways to get your name out there and how they can connect with you.

Buzz: What is the big takeaway that appraisers will get from this webinar?

Marty: If you want to grow your business into a multi-million dollar business or be able to add 5-10 more appraisers to your team, this is what you need to learn to drive more appraisals from private customers and new lenders. What many people don’t realize is many lenders out there are looking for appraisers, but they need to be able to find you. You’ll walk away with the skills and motivation to set this up for your business.

Thank you for answering our questions, we’re excited to see you hosting this upcoming webinar on April 9th at 2 pm.
