Is it Time to Switch to an Independent Software Provider?

Appraisers tend to stick with what they know best, but what if what they’re using isn’t actually the best? Many appraisers are still using the same technology as they were five, even ten, years ago! Join us on October 22 at 2 pm EDT for your chance to learn about the most advanced appraisal software suite on the market today during our free webinar, “Is it Time to Switch to an Independent Software Provider?” We think it’s time for the upgrade that you deserve. Learn all about Appraise-It Pro, your next appraisal software suite with SFREP!  We sat down with the host, Matt Johnson of SFREP, to discuss his upcoming webinar, “Is it Time to Switch to an Independent Software Provider?” on October 22nd at 2 pm EDT!

Buzz: What’s your background in the industry?

Matt: I started with SFREP in early 2006 as a technical support agent while finishing up my second degree. They offered good pay and benefits and were willing to work with my class schedule. It was such a great company to work for that I ended up staying on after graduation. From tech support, I worked my way up to software testing, and eventually into marketing, corporate communications, and training. I’ve learned a lot about the industry over the years – including being involved with the formation of UAD with Fannie Mae and Freddie Mac.

Buzz: Why should appraisers update their software?

Matt: The appraisal industry really is in a time of change. New forms, new form formats, and new ways of interacting with software are real business concerns right now. It’s important to be with a software company that’s building their products with an eye to the future. We can all hate change, but it’s a necessary evil. Customers should seek out software that can evolve without breaking or becoming a jumbled mess.

Buzz: In what ways does Appraise-It Pro differ from the other softwares?

Matt:
Simplicity – Our philosophy is to talk to appraisers and figure out the best way to do something. Then do it.
Reliability – We build our software using the latest programming technologies from Microsoft to ensure maximum compatibility with the latest versions of Windows. We also exhaustively test our software internally and then thoroughly with our team of beta testers to make sure it works for you. Our software is mission critical. The last thing we want is you to not be able to get your job done.
Privacy – Unlike other software companies, we don’t make back-end report processing and delivery products. We have no use for your data. You worked hard to create it and with SFREP – your data is your data. We never harvest it, we never store it, and we don’t want it. Privacy and security are our top priority.

Buzz: What are the benefits to making the change today?

Matt: There are some pretty major software related changes coming to the industry soon. Is your software ready or even capable of implementing these changes? How did they handle the switch to UAD? The best way to sell a product is to stand behind it and let it speak for itself. We are offering Appraise-It Pro FREE for six months with full training and technical support. Try it out with zero obligations and no strings attached. We don’t do contracts and if you’re not completely satisfied, just walk away.

Buzz: Why should appraisers attend your webinar?

Matt: Let’s all discuss the large corporate dominance of this industry. Maybe I can show you how choosing an independent software company can allow you to be treated more like an old friend rather than just another number in a database.

Thank you for answering our questions, Matt!
