Mortgage Rates Drop For First Time in Seven Weeks

Mortgage rates edged down this week, with the average rate for a 30-year fixed-rate mortgage falling to 3.13%, down from 3.18% last week, according to Freddie Mac’s Primary Mortgage Market Survey.

That’s down from 3.33% a year ago.
