Having been an appraiser for over several decades, finding that next CE course that was fresh and new was always a challenge. Traditional class room settings of a “7 hour talking head” just could not hold my attention. I knew I couldn’t be the only one who felt that way.
When I set out on the path to begin offering Valuation Expo, a lot of thought was put into the format. We have a two day conference with panel discussions for 14 hours. Each speaker has the podium for no more than 45 minutes. The pace is refreshingly different. And getting varying perspectives on the same issue is how we learn. “Wow, I never thought of it that way before” is often the feedback.
And here is a little known fact that we don’t crow about often enough. Did you know we are the only national conference, with this type of format, that offers CE approvals in ALL 50 States? That is why we draw appraisers from all over the US. Not only do you get to interact with our speakers but you get to meet appraisers from all over the country. Networking with potential new clients, is that other bonus that you just don’t get anywhere else.
And while all of that networking and learning is going on the Trade Show floor is right out the door where you can check out the latest new products and services that will make you more productive.
