Our First Scavenger Hunt Winner!

And the winner is….
weirdest-road-name

A big congratulations is in order for Terry Canfield of Canfield Appraisal Service! He sent in the photo seen above. “A dog will lick his butt but won’t eat a pickle” road.   Though there was some steep competition, that has got to be the wackiest and weirdest sign we’ve seen in a long time. Terry has won a FREE trade show pass to Valuation Expo!

For those of you who really wanted to score that win, have no fear.   It’s time for ROUND TWO!

First, let’s go over the ground rules again:

  • No fake pictures! We are operating under the honor code with these contests. Please no photoshop or photo editing of any kind. These photos need to be pictures YOU have taken. Bonus points will be allotted to those who take “selfies” with the object.
  • You must be a newsletter subscriber.
  • All photos must be sent to contests@appraisalbuzz.com. Be sure to include your name and your city and state.

All right let’s get to the fun stuff. Without further adieu, the second scavenger hunt is:

For those of you who haven’t seen this funny craze sweep the internet, here are some more examples of DIY fails:DIY-fail-drawers-facebook

You take any kind of home project you’ve found, whether it be something you’ve found from the internet or on television, and try and emulate it.  Depending on the results, it can end up quite hilarious. So for this hunt, either find photo proof that you’ve already witnessed a diy fail in person, or pick a project and have fun. If the results are bizarre like the ones seen above, send us a photo!  The winner this time around will win a FREE Allterra Online Course. You can’t beat 7 hours of continuing education at no cost. Get us your photos today!

Again, having a photo where you can be seen in the picture will get you BIG bonus points and you’ll be most likely to win over those who aren’t seen. Photos are due by March 15th!  Good luck!
