Spring has arrived which means warmer weather and new beginnings! There are plenty of new things to come check out on appraisalbuzz.com! We are constantly looking for ways to engage and reach those in the appraisal industry, so come take a look at the newest features such as free webinars and relatable comics.
Our newest edition is the Buzztoons section. These are the fun cartoons that we post related to the appraisal process and industry. Sometimes we all need a good laugh at the everyday things that cause us stress. Here’s the latest Buzztoon titled, “Indoor Pool” by Jerry King.
You can find more comics on the front page of appraisalbuzz.com under the “Buzztoons” section.
We are also hosting new live webinars every month. Our webinars are interactive and live presentations that we host. Experts will sit down and present their knowledge of a product, practice, or general advice to whomever wants to participate. We cover a variety of topics such as appraisal independence, successfully working with AMC’s, and “The Paperless Office,” and more. There is a Q+A portion, as well as a chat to speak directly with the organizers. You’ll have an industry professional at your fingertips! When these demonstrations are not live and have ended, you can find them for free on our BuzzStore. Enter your selected webinar into your cart to download and then you’ll be able to keep the demonstration forever at no cost to you.
Mark your calendars for our next webinar called “Your Office in the Palm of Your Hand” sponsored by Anow and presented by Keith Ellis. This will take place on May 28th at 1 pm ET. This webinar dives into everyday problems that appraisers may make on a daily basis and the easy solutions for them all. From losing inspection notes to answering on-the-go questions for clients, putting your office in the palm of your hand could be the resolution your company needs.
Finally, I want to introduce you to the newest face at Appraisal Buzz, Myself! My name is Irimar Waters and I am the new Media Director and Editor for Allterra Group. My literature background began at Frostburg State University where I studied professional writing and the Spanish language. By combining my recent experience in publishing and editing, past experience in a number of other areas including marketing, public relations, and senior administration, I trust my background will be sufficient in my transition into my new role. I’m looking forward to working with such a talented team and I’m excited for what this next chapter holds!
